Epiphone Limited Edition Inspired by 1955 Les Paul Custom Outfit Electric Guitar

Epiphone’s long association with Les Paul dates back to the 1940s when Les, working after-hours at the original Epiphone factory in Manhattan, created one of the world’s first solid body electric guitars which he nicknamed “The Log”. “The Log” was a rather crude prototype but soon evolved into the legendary Les Paul. Throughout his life, Les continued to work closely with Epiphone reviewing new products and offering suggestions.

The Limited Edition Inspired by "1955" Les Paul Custom Outfit is a historic reissue of one of the most popular Les Pauls ever made. It features Gibson USA Soapbar P-90 pickups, and gold hardware on an Ebony finish which earned it the nickname "Tuxedo". The "Tux" has the same profile of '50s era Les Paul Customs with a Mahogany body and neck with 50s style Rounded “C” profile. A vintage style hard case and certificate of authenticity case are included.
