This is a 2021 reissue vinyl LP pressing of Genius + Soul = Jazz by Ray Charles. The American singer-songwriter, composer and pianist originally released his album in March 1961, through Impulse! Records. Produced by Creed Taylor, the album was recorded at Van Gelder Studio in two sessions on December 26 and 27, 1960. It was voted number 360 in Colin Larkin's All Time Top 1000 Albums 3rd Edition (2000). The album was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2011.
