This is a vinyl LP pressing of Kin (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) by Mogwai. The Scottish post-rock released their original soundtrack album on August 31, 2018, under Rock Action Records. The music was composed for Kin, the 2018 American science fiction action film directed by Jonathan and Josh Baker and written by Daniel Casey. Mogwai has previously scored documentaries, but this is their first full film soundtrack. It is cinematic maximalism and synth-rock minimalism delivered with the signature introspective grace that has defined and refined Mogwai’s decades-long reputation.
