Clave is the foundational rhythmic pattern for much of Latin music and is typically played by striking two wooden sticks together, producing a bright, cracking sound. This Traditional African-style Clave from LP is made from kiln-dried exotic hardwood. Consisting of a clave (12"L x 1.75"W) and striker (10"L x 1"W), it features a cut away sound chamber with a hollowed centre for broader, more open rich tones with remarkable projection.
