LP Woodblocks have a unique sound chamber with a ported exit that projects sound toward the mic or the audience. They are crafted in the US with an exotic hardwood playing surface and an American maple body. LP Woodblocks are favoured by many orchestral percussionists because of their clear, distinct sound when played with mallets or sticks. They can be used on a flat surface or mounted with the LP Wood Block Mounting Bracket (sold separately).
