About this product
The Pearl Omar Hakim Snare Drum has the unique voice that has been referred to as the "power piccolo" sound that is identified with Hakim himself. It has a 5" x 13" African mahogany drum shell, 2.3mm shell counter hoops, Pearl's SR-015 Gladstone-style vertical pull throw-off, and precision-fit stainless steel tension rods with solid brass swivel nuts for super-precise tuning., and of course, Omar Hakims signature on the shell. This snare delivers a perfect blend of sonic power, projection, cutting attack, and tonal colour.
