This is a vinyl LP pressing of Tina: The Tina Turner Musical (Original Cast Recordings) by Various Artist. This LP is a jukebox musical featuring the music of Tina Turner and depicting her life from her humble beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee, to her transformation into a rock 'n roll star. Directed by Phyllida Lloyd with a book by Katori Hall, Frank Ketelaar, and Kees Prins, the musical had its world premiere on 17 April 2018 at the Aldwych Theatre in London.

This new stage musical, presented in association with Tina Turner herself, reveals the untold story of a woman who dared to defy the bounds of her age, gender and race. The album was recorded in February 2019 at Angel Studios and produced by Nicholas Skilbeck and Ghostlight Records founder, Kurt Deutsch, and co-produced by Tom Kelly.
