The American Classic line combines tradition with Vic Firth's signature style. With bold designs, the Classics are designed from hickory — a dense wood with little flex for a more pronounced sound, capable of withstanding a great deal of shock, making it highly durable. The tips are deeply back-cut for intensified cymbal response. The Specialty Barrel Tip Drumstick (5BBRL) features a 5B profile with a barrel shaped tip. The reduced surface area of the tip provides a more focused cymbal sound while retaining great playability and versatility.
