Modelled after the custom clear Stratocaster played by H.E.R. during the 62nd annual Grammy Awards, the clear acrylic of Scott Buehl's Acrylic Stratocaster lends itself to the contours of the Stratocaster. Having the parts and wiring visible contributes further to the sleek look. With acrylic weighing more than wood, Scott employed tactics such as routing the entire pickguard perimeter clear of material which not only shed valuable pounds off the guitar, but also contributed to the seamless design of this stunning clear guitar.
