This is a 2021 reissue vinyl LP pressing of m b v by My Bloody Valentine. The Irish-English rock band released their third studio album on February 2, 2013, through their own label. Produced by Kevin Shields, the recording for m b v began prior to My Bloody Valentine's breakup in 1997. Shields resumed recording in 2006 at the time when the band was reunited, with further recording occurring after 2011. The album was also included in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.
