Produced by Tom Coster and Santana, the album features both studio and live tracks, which are interspersed with one another throughout the album and showcases the best of Santana in the mid-seventies: the Latin-infused Blues/Rock, the spiritual Jazz Fusion, and the unstoppable energy of Santana on stage. The album reached #10 on the Billboard charts and was eventually certified platinum.
