This is a 2020 reissue vinyl LP pressing of American Beauty by Grateful Dead. The American rock band originally released their sixth studio album in November 1970, via Warner Bros Records. Produced by Steve Barncard and the band members, the album was recorded at Wally Heider Studios, in San Francisco. American Beauty entered the Billboard 200 chart, ultimately peaking at number 30 during a nineteen-week stay in January 1971. In 2003, the album was ranked number 258 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
