This is a vinyl LP pressing of "Angel Eyes" by The Dave Brubeck Quartet. Inspired by the well-known songbook albums of artists like Ella Fitzgerald and Oscar Peterson, Dave Brubeck dedicated this album to the music of Matt Dennis. Born in Seattle on February 11, 1914, Dennis wrote prolifically, with fourteen of his songs recorded by the Dorsey band in one year alone, including "Everything Happens to Me," an early hit for Frank Sinatra.
