This double vinyl LP pressing of Birdy by Bloodthirsty Butchers marks a significant release in the band's history. Formed in Sapporo in 1986, the band became a leading force in Japan's rock scene. Birdy was their first album after transitioning to Nippon Columbia, recorded during their time at the label in 2004-2005. The opening track, "JACK NICOLSON," expresses the band's fiery passion, while the album's striking cover—featuring the 'hands of all members' and a bold 'red' theme—reflects the intensity and creativity that went into its production, challenging even the photographers and designers involved.
