The album was executive produced by Butch Vig, the album was described as a pop-punk, pop rock and power pop record, the guitars drew a comparison to the Outfield and U2, while individual song comparisons were made to the likes of the Killers, the All-American Rejects and Shout Out Louds.. The album debuted at number five on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling approximately 62, 000 copies in it's first week.
