This is a double vinyl LP pressing of "Daydream Nation" by Sonic Youth. Released as their sixth full-length album, it marked their debut as a double-LP and their final release on an indie label before signing with Geffen. Widely regarded as their watershed moment, the album propelled Sonic Youth into the mainstream while maintaining their artistic integrity. "Daydream Nation" has since been acknowledged as a classic of its era, honored by the Library of Congress in 2006 as one of 50 recordings added to the National Recording Registry.
