About This Product

In 2005, Joe Satriani asked DiMarzio for a hotter and bigger version of the "FRED" humbucker he'd been using for years to put in the bridge position in his new Ibanez guitars. The result – the Mo' Joe is all about tone and definition. Its name says it all. It has more power than FRED without any loss of clarity or dynamics and all the harmonics that made FRED so good are there ready to jump out. Having more output makes the Mo' Joe a perfect match for the PAF Joe in the neck position. The combination delivers great versatility and control from rhythms to solos.
