About this product
A regular humbucker senses the string at two different places, and as a result it cancels some frequencies along with the hum, which is why the often sound muddy. DiMarzio have come up with a humbucker that cancels fewer frequencies and so it sounds brighter and cleaner, almost like a Strat pickup, but with the power of a PAF.
The Humbucker From Hell is primarily intended as a neck pickup, and it opens up the neck sound of a Les Paul. But why is it called The Humbucker From Hell? Put it in the bridge position and you'll find out!
