The D Activator-X is the newest in that line, featuring the same striking look as the X2N but featuring refined appointments, including an adjusted output and coils that have been tuned differently to guarantee a wider, more open sound that's been boosted by sheer strength. Not only does the D Activator-X carry the characteristics of the X2N and then some, but advanced technology has allowed for a cleaner sound across the profile, most noticeable when the volume control is rolled down, even with extreme metal and high-gain amps. This neck model has been specially designed to produce a highly concentrated attack, focusing on the upper mid range with less magnet pull and output in order to balance exceptionally well when paired with the Bridge model.
