This is a vinyl LP pressing of Earthbound by King Crimson — 50th Anniversary Edition. The final release in the original King Crimson vinyl series, this album was cut from masters approved by Robert Fripp and engineered by Jason Mitchell at Loud Mastering. Earthbound, originally released in 1972, is one of the earliest “official bootlegs” from a major rock band, featuring deliberately lo-fi live recordings of King Crimson’s Islands era line-up on their U.S. tour. Though initially excluded from the UK main album charts due to its mid-price release, it topped the mid-price charts alongside Jim Reeves and Mantovani, while Atlantic Records in the U.S. did not release it. This highly collectible reissue continues the celebrated King Crimson vinyl series and has been much requested by fans.
