About This Product

This is a 2020 reissue vinyl LP pressing of Emerald Tablet/Echoes by Somei Satoh. Recorded at the NHK Studio of Electronic Music in 1978, Satoh's unique take on musique concrète and tape music, sound harmonics made up of tubular bell, cymbals, and 'kin' (Buddhist standing bell) only, overdubbed to infinity. Fall into the ambient vastness, let yourself go.
