Written by Zakk Wylde between 2022 and 2025 while touring on the Pantera Celebration World Tour, the album reflects the highs, lows, and everything in between from the past several years. It also features the deeply personal ballad “Ozzy’s Song,” a heartfelt tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, the artist who helped launch Wylde’s legendary career. According to Wylde, Engines of Demolition is “a sincere ride through the peaks and valleys of the last four years,” making it one of the band’s most personal and emotionally resonant releases to date.
