About This Product

The Fender Custom Shop 1952 Telecaster Super Heavy Relic captures the classic character of an early Telecaster with a heavily aged finish and vintage-inspired specifications. It features a 2-piece select ash body paired with a 1-piece quartersawn maple neck with a ’57-style soft “V” back shape, 9.5" radius and 21 narrow tall frets for a comfortable playing feel. Custom Shop hand-wound ’50/’51 Blackguard pickups deliver authentic vintage-inspired Telecaster tones, complemented by ’51 Modified Nocaster wiring and a 3-way switch for versatile control. A Super Heavy Relic Flash Coat Lacquer finish, 1-ply black pickguard, 3-saddle American Vintage string-through-body bridge with brass saddles, vintage-style tuners, bone nut and vintage disc string tree complete the period-inspired design, with a deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity included.
