This is a vinyl LP pressing of Fire of Unknown Origin by Blue Oyster Cult. The American hard rock band originally released their eighth studio album on June 22, 1981, through Columbia Records. Produced by Martin Birch, the album also includes the Top 40 hit "Burnin' for You" (#1 on Billboard's Album Rock Tracks chart). It became the band's highest-charting album on the Billboard 200, peaking at number 24. In many ways, Fire of Unknown Origin was the end of an era for the band, as they would struggle to find solid footing with critics and radio over the next several years. But this remains an incredible piece from the golden era.
