The American singer-songwriter originally released his twelfth studio album on August 20, 1990, via his own label, Paisley Park Records. The self-produced album was written by Prince despite the handful of artists performing, including Tevin Campbell, Mavis Staples, and the Time. Graffiti Bridge reached number 6 in the United States and was his third consecutive chart-topper on the UK Albums Chart.
