About This Product

Introduced in 2022 as part of the mid-tier Premium line, the SR5CMDX is an electric bass model from the Soundgear series by Ibanez and was made in Indonesia.

The SR5CMDX features a curly maple, purpleheart and walnut top and back on a double-cutaway ash body bolted to a titanium reinforced Panga Panga and purpleheart Atlas neck with a 24-fret Panga Panga fingerboard with abalone oval position markers. Components include a pair of Nordstrand Big Single passive pickups with an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, Mono-rail bridges with 19mm string spacing, and a GraphTech Black TUSQ nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
