About This Product

This is a vinyl LP pressing of Movement by New Order, featuring the 2019 Remaster. The album is the debut release from the band and features remastered audio previously exclusive to the Movement Definitive Edition boxset. Originally produced by Martin Hannett, who worked with Joy Division, the album features eight original tracks written after the death of Ian Curtis. This includes tracks like "Dreams Never End" and "Truth," which were quickly penned in the summer of 1980, and the album successfully charted at the number 1 spot on the UK independent albums chart in 1981.
