Natal was conceived in 1958 by distinguished British percussionist Alan Sharp when he was unable to find the exact instruments he wanted to play and decided to source the individual parts and assemble them himself. His Afro-Cuban bongos were of such high quality that orders began to flood in, eventually leading to the foundation of the Natal Percussion Company in 1965. Natal Oblong Shakers are great instruments to add to an existing percussion set up. They won't break the bank, and they provide you with an extra sound that you can mix in with your music. Available in Ash, Ebony or Mucha Burl, all sporting the Natal logo, they are filled with plastic beads which make a distinctive sound when shaken.
