Pearl’s fresh take on the legendary Maple/Gum shell combination reaches new levels in dynamic punch and sensitivity in the snare drum setting. Crafted originally as the Masterworks Sonic-Select Studio Recipe, this EvenPly-Six combination of premium North American Maple and figured sweet Gum wood creates a thin but very dense shell. Combined with a shallow 60 degree bearing edge and a heavier Die-Cast hardware load, Masters Maple/Gum snare drums deliver a punchy, immediate tone that is as perfect for recording as it is in live settings.
