This is a vinyl LP pressing of the mono mix of Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys. Originally released on May 16, 1966, it is the band’s 11th studio album. Upon release, it received a lukewarm response in the United States, peaking at No. 10 on the Billboard 200, a lower position than their previous albums. However, in the United Kingdom, the album was a critical and commercial success, reaching No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart and remaining in the top ten for six months. Pet Sounds has since achieved widespread critical acclaim and is regarded as one of the most influential albums in music history.
