The PRS Silver Sky is a modern reimagining of a vintage single-coil guitar, developed through close collaboration between John Mayer and Paul Reed Smith. Inspired by classic 1963–64 designs, it blends vintage warmth and familiarity with modern precision, featuring custom 635JM pickups for full, musical tone, a refined neck profile, and PRS’s signature inverted headstock for improved tuning stability. With high-quality components like a steel tremolo, locking vintage-style tuners, and premium craftsmanship throughout, the Silver Sky delivers a balanced, expressive playing experience for today’s guitarist.
