A progression of SABIAN’s time-honoured HH series, HHX are exquisitely dark instruments. These are tonally complex cymbals ideal for a wide swath of music genres. From progressive metal, fusion and EDM to traditional jazz, HHX continues to set the standard for dark sounds. Welcome to the dark side.

As with all HHX Complex cymbals, the Complex Medium Rides are created using a combination of HHX and HH hammering, which results in a rich, dark sound quality. The Hand-Hammered raw bell adds to the complexity and lows. The added weight compared to the HHX Complex Thin Ride, gives somewhat more articulation and control to the stick sound.
