Featuring oversized 1/4” Alnico 5 pole pieces, it expands the magnetic field for enhanced low-end depth, strong midrange presence, and maximum output while maintaining excellent clarity and definition. Known for its fat, full-bodied sound and aggressive attack, the Quarter Pound excels in rock and heavier styles but remains versatile enough for a wide range of live and studio applications. Designed as a direct drop-in replacement for American Standard Precision Basses, it is available in both 4- and 5-string versions. Hand built in Santa Barbara, California, with Forbon flatwork and vacuum wax potting, it delivers reliable, squeal-free performance with bold, stage-ready tone.
