About This Product

This is a limited 2016 reissue vinyl LP pressing of The Head on the Door by The Cure. The English rock band originally released their sixth studio album on August 30, 1985, through Fiction Records. Produced by band members, Robert Smith and David M. Allen, the album was recorded at Angel Recording Studio in London along with drummer Boris Williams and Bassist Simon Gallup. The single "In Between Days" which had reached #15 on the UK singles chart, The Head on the Door was described by Melody Maker as "a collection of pop songs". In the United Kingdom, it quickly became their most successful album to date, climbing to #7 on the albums chart.
