About This Product

This is a vinyl LP pressing of Turning Point (Blue Note Classic Vinyl Series) by Dr. Lonnie Smith. The American jazz organist originally released his second album in 1969, via Blue Note Records. Turning Point featured the organ virtuoso with a dynamic band featuring Lee Morgan on trumpet, Julian Priester on trombone, Bennie Maupin on tenor saxophone, Melvin Sparks on guitar, and the funky drummer Leo Morris (aka Idris Muhammad).
